A real nuts and bolts introduction to yoga.
If you are new to yoga or returning after a long break then enroll on to the 6 week beginners course. Here you will learn the fundamental basics of yoga. You will build confidence in the postures learning to combine the breath with the movement.
You will learn breathing techniques which will assist you in everyday life and at the same give your internal system a spring clean! The breathing will purify and cleanse your entire system, you will literally start to glow!. As the course progresses you will work more deeply with your body and the postures, learning to combine it all together. You will build the confidence and be prepared to slot into one of the weekly living Yoga classes. In addition to this You will also learn a simple home practice and we will have time for discussions pre and after class to include a posture clinic where needed.
Living Yoga Sessions
Once the beginners programme is complete you can join a Living Yoga session of your choice (see classes).These classes offer the systematic cleansing of the whole body and mind. The nervous system is balanced and the body is completely rejuvenated.
We will practice regular breathing techniques and deep relaxation. We will be focusing on the flow of the postures with the breath. Our alignment of the postures and the benefits of each one. This technique practiced daily will arm you with all the tools you need to live a more fulfilled, healthier life. Thus enabling you to manage your life more efficiently with more joy and motivation. You will sleep better and feel more relaxed in general.
